EXPLORING THE DEPTHS- FREEMASONRY UNVARNISHED

When we were boys, the world seemed a blurr. Subject to the controlled influence of adults, no one moves into adulthood with baggage of some sort. No one. How we deal with that- that's an intimate tale, where failure and successes are remembered over time in whithering detail. Because life comes to us without a script. Serious, not necessarily solemn. Through time, observant minds began finding patterns that Freemasons have sourced for a long time.  Our history, symbolism and philosophy harmonize, incredibly across landscapes, inhabited by peoples  defined by unique history and geography.  Moderns and Ancients, protectors of true purpose, carefully brought their scholars together to find compromise, teaching us they were aware of a greater purpose; the benefit of harmony. They gave us a rare opportunity, (that we have tried to soften).  The Craft requires study, a calling for thinking men. So, today I urge you to take your  singular experience to a higher plane. Face the darkness. Face the unknown. Explore metaphysical presence. Go where ritual takes you. Find where ritual is being performed, that focuses on you in the perpetuate character of a candidate.  Search to find solace in a lodge away from the distractions of familiarity. Barely adequate. Short effort won't get you there. Your life is short. It isn't a dress rehearsal. You want to improve- then pay the piper and move on.
