If you were a physicist do you think you would be familiar with Faraday's work? If you were Michael Faraday, would you have familiarized yourself with the works of  Humphry Davy or William Thomas Brande?  But we are us.  Does history have lessons for us as we come to terms with Masonry? Who are the pivotal thinkers of the day who will propel masonry into the future? Given the inclination of the agora, the rashness of our peers- would we revile or accept their challenging ways? Progress, change is a lumpy affair. Rarely adopted holis bolis.  Often new ideas- outliers- are comfortable to young, open minds; the courageous, immortality of youth pressing against boundaries that come into existence when they only are observed.  They are essential to organizations that thrive if care is taken with the introduction. Offered as a clumsy threat starts Luddites dancing wildly. Offered as a curious off shoot starts conversation.
