Reinvention: Particles, Parts and Performance

Hi again and thanks for supporting MHC.  Each week the audience is growing. Please tell a friend far and wide!

I'm told we're about self development but how that happens  seems to be a bit vague you must admit. I'm told everything has meaning; each symbol, every station, regalia, jewels, colours, structure, everything speaks to us. But like many of us,  I waited patiently for help me find a start point. Never ever happened.

So I asked myself- self? Does it really need to be so difficult?

Sometimes all we need is someone to guide, to advise , to showing interest in your questions and help you gather the tools you need to find those answers.

Fraternal education is different from secular stuff. To be complete, to round out the experience requires the trust and friendship of a masonic mentor, one who knows and models the principles of our Order. 

Mentors are the pastiche of patience, always adding just slightly more information to your basket. Always reinforcing. Confidant. Coach. Teacher.  

But they are never evergreen. They come into our lives and leave as quickly. It is up to each of us to carry on the lessons learned and pay them forward to the next newer, freemason asking his questions, impatient to learn, repeating the process that has been a landmark of the Craft- entry through initiation.
