Conservative commentators from various religious backgrounds, such as Jews and Catholics, have in recent years emphasized the need for America to rediscover its moral roots in Biblical belief. William E. Wolfe, a Southern Baptist former official in the administration of President Donald Trump and political activist on Capitol Hill and with organizations such as the Heritage Foundation, has joined the fray, particularly with a recent article online with Liberty University's Standing for Freedom Center. Therein Wolfe notes the Christian roots of the United States' founding era, and especially their Protestant nature. As Protestants still form the majority of America's Christians, they cannot be absent in any American sociopolitical revival. Wolfe will join show host Andrew E. Harrod to discuss the particular Protestant relationshiop to free societies and leftist infiltration of American institutions, including religious ones, among other matters.
