The Injeel vs. the Gospels. The Cross and the Crescent Discussion Group. This week we are inviting a frequent participant to some of the “Clubhouse” chat rooms, Umar Khattab, to the group to discuss the Injeel, the dating of the four Gospels and their authenticity. One of the many objections we encounter as Christians is the authenticity of the Gospels. Who wrote them? When were they written? Can we trust them? What type of attestation do we have for them? Etc… One the other hand we have the same questions listed above concerning the Injeel given to Jesus as found in the Quran. Who wrote the Injeel? When was it written? Can we trust it? What type of attestation do we have for it? All of these topics and more will be discussed this Sunday!
