Why Christ came. The Cross and the Crescent Discussion Group

Jesus is the reason for the season.  Tuesday, we plan on examining why Jesus Christ came in the first place.  According to Islam Jesus came to tell the Jews to only worship God (which they were already doing BTW) and He demonstrated this by doing a couple of miracles and preaching from the book He was given.  The Jesus of the Quran is a “FAKE”!!!

The Jesus of the Bible as portrayed and prophesized of in the Bible is a very different and purposeful Jesus.  He is one set aside His deity, entered into His creation and sacrificed Himself for the sins of the world.

The life of Christ was foretold.  The life of Christ was lived in fulfillment of God’s purpose.  The life of Christ was is so much more told and celebrated in the New Testament then the 7 short non-sensible statements we find Him making in the Quran.

We are looking forward to this discussion and the truth it leads us too.
