Twenty Years of Enduring Freedom – The Cross and the Crescent

Two decades of striking back at the forces of what we in the west can safely classify as evil – it has finally to the final day, the final hour, the final minute of having a permanent public forwardly deployed presence in country from which we suffered 9/11. 

This is an emotional event.  I knew and know people who went into Afghanistan in October of 2001.  Now, 20 years later, this is the opposite world of that! 

I was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division in my younger days and this what we trained to do.  We were all Superduperparatroopersbadassmotherfers!  This is exactly the type of mission we trained for.  Jump in – in the middle of the night, take down the airfield and land a bunch of legs to do the dirty work. 

Now – what are we doing?  Instead of putting the fear of Allah into the Taliban/ISIS2.0/Al Queda we are asking for assistance.  This is what cowards do.  Not warriors! 

The senior leadership of the DoD all need to resign!  This is a disgrace!  If any of you did in fact provide the President any type of advice he refused to follow then you need to do the honorable thing and tell him to stick it!  And Resign!  If you didn’t, then you need to stick it yourself and resign!
