College football edges closer. CFL starts next month. My daughter's wedding is inside of two months away, And of course, we are getting closer to mid-term elections in 2022. So what's to make of approaching events? Well, first, let's talk about some realities that are already happening.

College athletes may now make money from their Name, Image & Likeness. Some CFL players have already opted out of the upcoming season, and no, NOT because of COVID, but rather, all the restrictions it brings in Canada. And as far as mid-term elections go, well, we know what one party has already done in terms of alienating voters, and what states have done to shore up election and voting security.
