Radio Free Kafiristan

The Old Testament of the Bible is filled with violence and death.  This is evident especially in Genesis 6 to 9 when God sent a flood to kill E-V-E-R-Y-B-O-D-Y on the planet.  There are other places we can find acts of violence that God orders that to those who are ignorant of context may seem harsh.

The Quran is full of violence too.  It contains several injunctions for Muslims to kill/repress/subjugate those who won’t bow towards Mecca five times a day.  The sayings, actions and biography (ahadith and Sira) of Muhammad that resembles “source material” for some of Quentin Tarantino’s films (Natural Born Killers/Pulp Fiction/Inglorious Bastards/Django/etc…) coming out of Hollywood. 

Today, in the end, we are going to focus on the modern applications of the teachings of both of these books!  Which book is responsible for more violence committed today?  Do we see people screaming Yahweh Akbar when killing others?  Or do we something  different?  Tune in to find out!
