There is a lot of material to talk about. President Trump's acquittal and the response across the various groups from Big Left. The B1G holds spots 3 through 5 in the NCAA Basketball rankings. The push, by some, to cancel student debt. The continuing power issues while much of the USA freezes and/or deals with heavy snow.

Then there is the crushing, sad, devastating news we received around noon ET today, when The Rush Limbaugh Show broke the news that Rush Limbaugh had succumbed to cancer at the age of 70. He had announced that he was diagnosed with the disease a little over a year ago. He missed periods of his broadcasts in order to undergo treatments for Stage 4-level liung cancer, and was open about the prognosis and life expectancy. I remember when he said a couple months ago that he was here on Earth beyond expectations, that every day was a gift. 

There is no way I can justice to the man by how I conduct this show. He inspred many aspects of it, and anyone who does radio today--no matter their political views, no matter their subject matter, no matter their life experience--that says he didn't have an influence is either lying, or doing themselves a great disservice by not taking cues from him. The way he laid out his shows, alone, was incredible. His unabashed willingness to stick to his views and principles empowered all people in radio to do their show, their way, with conviction and confidence. Frankly, without a Rush Limbaugh, you don't have a Sean Hannity, an Alan Colmes, a Jim Rome, a Colin Cowherd, or even a Chelsea Handler/Chelsea Lately show on the E! Network.

He made us proud to be Conservative with a capital "C" and, much like President Donald Trump, inspired hate from Big Left simply because he was right. He stated facts. He was true to himself. Godspeed, Rush Limbaugh.
