Let's see, what's afoot in the World of Gaffes? Hmmm....

Well, QPJ Hiden Biden referred to a "Harris-Biden Administration". Then again, his running mate, Kamala Harris did the same. So...count that as a gaffe, or no? Then we have QPJ trying to pander to the Hispanic community at a rally in Kissimmee, FL. Journalists from acrss the spectrum united together with the term, "Cringe-worthy". 

A sports gaffe came in the form of Nebraska's university system president--no, not the one who would actually vote, just the state system president--being heard on a hot mic saying B1G would be voting and announcing the resumption of the season on Tuesday, 9/15. And of course, no announcement ever came. Of course, the Twitter-verse erupted in the form of tons of tweets from non-Nebraska folks proclaiming, "B1G will vote to allow Nebvraska to announce the resumption of the season". Ouch!

And, on that score, the B1G lost another high-profile player to "opt-out". Except, this one is a little more ironic, as Ohio State Buckeye DB Shaun Wade is the latest. The irony comes in the form of family relations, with Wade's father, Ryan, having spearheaded most of the parent protests to/at the the league offices for clarification, transparency, and "let them play" statements.

Elsewhere in the B1G, a University of Wisconsin administrator, testifying before Congress, is in agreement that the salaries of college football coaches might need to be capped. Only in Madison...

And quite possibly the biggest shocker, or at least certainly leading in the under-the-radar category: the Cubs AND White Sox both lead their divisions with but 12 (or so) games to play!
