Georgetown University's Saudi-established Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding (ACMCU) hosted a panel "The Challenge of Pluralism in the 21st Century" with Jordan's Prince Zeid bin Ra'ad al-Hussein.  Prince Zeid is a professional diplomat who became the United Nations first Arab Muslim High Commissioner for Human Rights in 2014 and served until 2018.  Prince Zeid and his fellow panelists from Georgetown's faculty emphasized their vision of seeking harmony between Islam and a pluralistic world.  Yet the record of Jordan on issues involving free speech and terrorism, as well as the biographies of event attendees like Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Executive Director Nihad Awad, indicate a far more problematic reality.  Show host Andrew E. Harrod will discuss various panelist presentations and audience members in turn.
