U.S. Army Reserve Major Montgomery Granger found himself the ranking Army Medical Department officer in a joint military operation like no other before it – taking care of terrorists and murderers just months after the horrors of September 11, 2001.  Abuse of prisoners gets played out in the media, but it's more abuse of the guards and personnel.
