THE FEAR OF THE LORD

The FEAR OF THE LORD is greatly needed back in the church, the Body of Christ. Fear meaning a holy reverence for GOD, the all seeing, all knowing GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So much so that you fear to lie, fear to deceive, fear to hurt your neighbor or child of GOD; fear to intentionally cause pain to another; fear of disobeying GOD; fear of speaking against GOD and His children or anyone for that matter; fear of not helping or giving to those in need, when GOD says when you bless them you bless HIM; fear of putting others and material things before GOD; fear of violating others; fear of Lord, and reverence for GOD is the beginning of wisdom. Fear of the LORD and walking in that, practicing it, will bring great FAVOR with GOD. Fear of the LORD will cause you to make a conscious effort to Love you neighbor as yourself and not be competitive and wise in your own eyes. I personally as a church leader, (Deacon, Teacher, Evangelist. Missionary, Assigned Gatekeeper, and Minister), have experienced some of the above. God has allowed me to experience these circumstances which have been very hurtful yet enlightening. People trust people with titles in the church and discover later that they cannot be trusted with your confidence. I know this to be true, it happened to me. There is an enormous abuse of power in the church. Power lorded over sheep to control and maniulate them. While sheep can be described as dumb and have to be led, a Shephard(Pastor) with the heart of GOD will never mislead sheep, lie to them, lie on them or create conflict for them. They will treat  sheep exactly like Jesus would treat sheep, IN THE FEAR OF THE LORD. Jeremiah 3:15(KJV)15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.MSG Bible:I’ll give you good shepherd-rulers who rule my way, who rule you with intelligence and wisdom. Always ruling or leading in love and truth.
