Pages 122-126

The dreadful work was done. And the pall of Sin and Gloom and Toil and Pain and Death fell upon a world which God had made beautiful. (Halley’s Handbook, p. 70)

After this world was created, everything connected there-to seemed to take a “fall.” Satan and his hosts were cast down; Adam fell; all the children of God were sent down here. Everyone went through some kind of fall to get here. However, in reality, everything was not in a state of “falling” so much as it was in a state of progression.

For mortality to begin here on the earth, someone had to have mortal children. The job fell on Adam and his wife, Eve. That obligation was not unique to just this earth, but on every earth throughout God’s kingdom.

In his journal, Joseph Lee Robinson wrote:

Attended conference. A very interesting conference; for at this meeting President Brigham Young said thus: That Adam and Eve were the names of the first man and woman of every earth that was ever organized. (p. 102)

Not only were the names (or titles) the same on every earth, but so were the circumstances
