THE MANIFESTO, Topic 70a, page 98 of 95 Thesis by Ogden Kraut.

“And the Lord saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein; but have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them: Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall drink. I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.” (Jer. 9:13-16)

“Remember, remember that it is not the work of God that is frustrated, but the work of men; *** For, behold, you should not have feared man more than God.  13: “And now, beloved brethren, we say unto you, that inasmuch as God hath said that He would have a tried people, that He would purge them as gold, now we think that this time He has chosen His own crucible, wherein we have been tried; and we think if we get through with any degree of safety, and shall have kept the faith, that it will be a sign to this generation….” (T.P.J.S., p. 136)
