A Billion Realities with Jessica Gerlach, Gerald Barclay, Zaze, and Kyle McNeil

On the first half of this episode, Kyle McNeil of Hip Hop Canada, and I, speak with the ultra talented writer, director, producer, cinemotographer, editor, music video, and filmmaker, Gerald K. Barclay. Gerald is a true creative visionary and has been in the hip hop game since the late 80's with his early music videos kicking off many hip hop icon careers, starting with Wu Tang Clan. In addition to music videos, Mr. Barclay's 30+ year career continues to thrive with numerous, powerful documentaries, short films, and feature films. Today he will share never previously released insight into the adversities he has faced in life, the hip hop scene, and show biz and what it takes to be resilient!

On the second half of this episode, Kyle McNeil and I are speaking with the fiery, talented Canadian rapper, Zaze, whose career spans for 15 plus years, touring with the likes of Tech N9ne, D12, Naughty by Nature, ICP and most recently opened for Onyx. Kyle and Zaze have a long term collaboration working together creating music videos, as well as, partnering in their company called, True Aspect Media and the music label which Zaze is signed to called, "9 0 Nickel." We will be hearing about Zaze's mindset, attitude, strengths, as well as the adversities he has faced in life and career and how he managed to stay on top of the game as a rapper and individual.
