What would you think of your doctor if he knew you were dying of a curable disease, but he neglected to tell you?  What of your neighbor who saw your house was on fire, but walked on by? Of the mechanic who recognized that your brakes were failing but decided not to bother you with a warning? We are accountable as watchmen on the wall. 

Foundational Scripture:  Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. (Ezek 33:9).

Having watchmen on the walls represents the importance of vigilance, protection, and responsibility in various contexts, whether they are physical, moral, or symbolic. It underscores the idea that individuals or groups need to be watchful and proactive to ensure the safety, well-being, and integrity of their community or organization.
