RECOVER ALL WEDNESDAY
RECOVER ALL WEDNESDAY, based on 1 Samuel 30:8, where David ask God shall I pursue, and God answers yes, and RECOVER ALL.
GRACE FOR THE THORN! 2 Corinthians 12:7-11
A thorn is Any thing troublesome. St. Paul had a thorn in the flesh. 2 Cor.12. Num.33. 4. In Scripture, great difficulties and impediments.I will hedge up thy way with thorns. Hos.2.
Worldly cares; things which prevent the growth of good principles. Matt.13.
Grace: the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.
Read 2 Corinthians 12:7-11 for your self and let it encourage you to keep your eyes on the prize.
What thorn do you have thats troubling you? Even in Numbers 33:55 thorns are used as a metaphor for the enemies of the Israelites.
1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. Let us be encouraged as we run this race, remembering that we are not alone and God knows what best for us, just as He knew what was best for Paul.
PRAYER: Father! We look to the hills from which cometh our help, all of our help comes from you and we thank you. In Jesus name, Amen.
