COUNT IT ALL JOY!

James 1:2 says, My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; He did not say fall out, 1James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes in the Dispersion: Greetings. 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.…Matthew 5:12 Rejoice and celebrate, because great is your reward in heaven; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets before you. We should not pray so much for the removal of affliction, as for wisdom to make a right use of it. And who does not want wisdom to guide him under trials, both in regulating his own spirit, and in managing his affairs? A mind that has single and prevailing regard to its spiritual and eternal interest, and that keeps steady in its purposes for God, will grow wise by afflictions, will continue fervent in devotion, and rise above trials and oppositions. No condition of life is such as to hinder rejoicing in God.

Romans 5:3 Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance(persistence, continuing)

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.

James 1:16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers.

James 1:19 My beloved brothers, understand this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger,

James 5:11 See how blessed we consider those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen the outcome from the Lord. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

1 Peter 1:6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer various trials.
