Pastor Larry Curry was born in Orlando, July of 1960 and graduated from Jones High School in 1978. He is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Microbiology. He is the son of Jannie James and J.W. Curry. He is the proud Husband of Evangelist Dee Collins Curry and the father of five wonderful children, Simone, Loren, Larry Jr., Laura and Lawrence Curry. Brother Curry became an Ordained Minister and Elder at Metropolitan Cathedral, where he served as Youth Pastor for eight years of a thriving inner-city church of 300 or more youth. For nine and a half years he was employed at Frontline Outreach from 1989 to 1998 under the tutelage of his spiritual father C.R. Smith where he served as Vice-President/Youth Director of this inner-city ministry that reached thousands of at risk youth and families. In 1998, he was ordained a Pastor by Bishop Gilbert Coleman, Jr., Founder of Freedom Christian Bible Fellowship Worldwide Ministries, and later became an affiliate of that ministry. In June 2001, Pastor Curry was ordained as an Elder of Standing in the Gap Ministries International under the Leadership of Bishop S.C. Johnson where he served as the National Youth Director and Spokesperson. Presently, he faithfully serves as the Executive Pastor at The Father's House International Fellowship (Orlando) under Bishop Pastor David L. Outing. Pastor Curry also serves as Founder/Executive Director of a new striving ministry called the Center for Urban Leadership and Community Development (CULCD) that began in March of 1999. The mission of the CULCD is to train, develop and empower potential and established leaders to work in the urban communities of Central Florida. He is also Co-founder of KNEC (Kingdom Network Empowering Communities) a network of churches, ministries and faith based community organizations whose mission is to build and empower local neighborhoods and communities to become agents of change at a grass root level by providing the necessary training
