Let's recap what self-destruction is before I get into the description of tonight's topic on rejection. Self-destruction is when a person does something to cause harm to themselves in various ways mentally, emotionally, and physically. Sometimes self-destructive behavior is unknown and the person isn't aware that they are self-harming. Yet other times self-destructive behavior is intentional and the person is cognizant of what they are doing. Overcoming traumatic experiences can be difficult to manage without proper care. Most people tend to go it alone, not fully understanding the underlying problems that they will experience due to what happened to them.
