Ephesians 4:1, I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;  3Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace

This verse tells us how we are to walk worthy of our (vocation) our profession to which we have been specifically chosen for by God and I paused here....because functional illiteracy was standing out to me!  To be functional illiterate is to have some (a little education or knowledge) in your vocation but be below minimum literacy standards of that vocation and it's function and I had to ask why? The answer is in Hosea 4:6

Before proceeding to part 2 of Functional Illiteracy In The Body of Christ, It's Time For Change, I will recap part 1 and then we will transition to 1 Corinthians the 12 chapter and discuss the 9 spiritual gifts of God. I pray that you are being blessed by this message!
