Psalm 51:10, Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. - Learning how to relinquish our hurt and pain.  Are you grieving excessively over a past hurt or pain? Are you operating in a spirit of humility or a spirit of pride?  King Saul operated in a spirit of pride and lost his glory!  David operated in a spirit of humility and kept his glory! King Saul and King David both sinned against God but the only difference AND BIG DIFFERENCE that set them apart is found in Psalm 51:10. Saul failed to acknowledge his sins and repent....pride took over and Saul lost his kingdom.   David acknowledged his sin and he repented before God and he received the kingdom. 

Psalm 75:5:7, Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. 6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Where are you today?  Are you quick to repent before God or do you run and hide your sins from God?  Create in me a clean heart O God!
