God, the Holy Spirit (Ghost) as the Protector of the body of Christ, will warn the believer when genuine danger is upon them. He will give stern council through those in authority in our lives, even through our children. He will attempt in many ways to get our attention. He seeks to keep us from all harm so that we may finish the race. HOWEVER, many belivers do not take heed to warnings issued. Many believe that if God wants them to know something He will come and tell them Himself. But that is not always the method that He chooses to use. Humility is our friend. Humility will cause us to reconsider our path or plans, seek the Lord, and thereby avoid undesirable consequences.
