Grudges, Bitterness and Forgiveness

Overcoming Spiritual darkness

When someone you care about hurts you and you can hold on to anger, resentment and thoughts of revenge — or embrace forgiveness and move forward.

It is not uncommon for Christians to have questions about forgiveness. Forgiveness does not come easy for most of us. Our natural instinct is to recoil in self-protection when we've been injured. We don't naturally overflow with mercy, grace and forgiveness when we've been wronged.

The collection of information gained from past learning or experience that is stored in a person's mind. A piece of information, such as the mental image of an experience, that is stored in the memory.

A person that has old habits such as drugs, sexual sin, can repent. However, they will have a great warfare with their flesh and mind to gain control of both. They find themselves in a great spiritual warfare. Satan will everyday ride the ruts of their minds to draw them back.

You have change your thinking 'by stopping the old thoughts and replace the old thoughts with Gods Word. Then pray for the person and forgive them again in your prayers.
