Blocking Receiving Holy Spirit

Christians are meant by God to walk in the Spirit. Often we spend years, or even decades living the fleshly life, producing little fruit for God. "But I say, walk by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, and the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit" Gal. 5:16, 17 

"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, For he who sows to His own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life."  Gal. 6:8

2 Cor. 1:22 "God has given us His Spirit"  Rom. 8:14 "All who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God" Heb. 10:15ff God writes his laws on your heart. Gal. 2:20 "It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives within me"

“8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they believe not on me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged,” Jn. 16:8-11.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,” 2 Thess. 2:11.
