Before Calvary, the Greek word "DUNAMIS" described Satan's power—an untrammeled power! But “since the resurrection, another Greek work, "EXOUSIA" is used to refer to the devil's authority. Though still "prince and power of the air" he is a lesser authority, defeated by Jesus, and subject unto Him. The secret of victory over Satan is to recognize his defeat.  

Not until God gave permission, could the devil afflict Job. And this was before the victory of Calvary! How much greater is our victory. with the Holy Spirit to helpus as we plead the blood of Jesus over his every attack, When Jesus died on the cross, He purchased us with His own blood. There is an invisible "no trespassing" sign on every saint. "Ye are not your own, you are bought with a price!".Satan has no right to attack you if you are born again and living for Christ. I John 5:18, "We know that whatsoever is born of God sinneth not; but he keepeth himself, and THAT WICKED ONE TOUCHETH HIM NOT!" If born again, we are God's property, and THAT WICKED ONE TOUCHE TH US NOT!
