They are dead Believers—all deceased believers from Acts Chapter 1—awaiting the return of the Lord...

They are living true Christians; all believers on the earth who are alive when Christ returns.

The timing of the Rapture is not known but is promised by Jesus.

Jesus in the Upper Room Just before His death, told His disciples that he would leave and “go prepare a place for you,” and then he promised to return for He said, “I will come again, to receive you unto myself that where I am, there ye may be also,” (Jn. 13:3).
