Jesus promised, “The gates of Hell will not prevail against His Church.” Many pastors, teachers and members of the Body of Christ are becoming aware that they are in a war zone and awakening to the reality of the need of intense spiritual warfare. Satan can only get an advantage of us if we remain ignorant of his devices, (2 Cor. 2:11).Matt. 7:15, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."Perilous Times Turning From Sound Doctrine; there is a “turning away” in doctrinal standards, in the demand for a regenerated church membership, in church attendance. Many churchgoers will not endure “sound doctrine.” They will not hear those who preach the “total depravity” of man, the necessity of the “New Birth,” and the conscious and endless torment of those who reject Christ as the only and personal Savior. They demand teachers who “itch” (tickle) their ears with pleasing, novel and sensational doctrines.
