Dr Michelena is the Director of Cardiac Anesthesiology at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, a level two trauma center and a teaching institution in Aventura, Florida. She is also faculty at HCA/Kendall Regional Medical Center. Formerly, she was Chief Resident at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Michelena graduated magna cum laude from medical school at Universidad Central de Venezuela. She is an avid physical fitness enthusiast and mother of a precious 15-year old son.
