Tonight on Deepertruth, Father Richard Frank will appear to give his story.

Father states, "I was ordained at Immaculate Conception Church in Jefferson City, my home parish, on May 13, 1972 (Our Lady of Fatima) by Bishop Michael McAuliffe. So, I have been a priest for 46 years. I retired from parochial administration on July 1, 2017. I have been available for weekend subbing since then and have been asked several times. I also have more time to do volunteer work as at the Samaritan Center and opposing Planned Parenthood. I also take time to indulge my hobbies of study of Civil War, bicycling, and movies."

I have been available for weekend subbing since then and have been asked several times. I also have more time to do volunteer work as at the Samaritan Center and opposing Planned Parenthood.

I also take time to indulge my hobbies of study of Civil War, bicycling, and movies. I have been stationed in a number of parishes in the following places: Hannibal, St. Joseph Cathedral, St. Peter-Jefferson City, Marceline, Pilot Grove, St. Martins, Freeburg, St. Clement, Canton, Glasgow, Brunswick.

I have been considered a "difficult priest" by some authorities in the past for my outspoken opposition to the corruption of Catholic Relief Services and Rice Bowl, Campaign for Human Development, and the now defunct transgender policy that the Diocesan School Office tried to force on parishes.

Father Frank encourages Priests to “Stay faithful to your prayers and trust in God …”

“Try to get parishioners involved on a volunteer basis in some of the nitty-gritty administrative stuff …”

“And get a good cook or learn how to cook,”
