There are many stories with Mark before and during his walk toward the fullness of Truth and then taking the step to his Confession, Confirmation and First Eucharist as he joined the Catholic Church on Holy Saturday in 2015.  There are always things that make each conversion special and Mark had a special one that will need prayer for the rest of his life, because Satan hates him for coming to and now speaking Truth from the deposit of faith that comes from Scripture, Tradition, and Magisterium.  Mark was a former Methodist Pastor, and thought Catholics were the ones that needed help, he was never malicious, but spoke in ignorance.

Mark called me one evening and asked that I come by his house, and to my great joy, asked if I could bring him into the Catholic Church.  When we plant seeds, we don't know what is going to happen, as we pray and the Holy Spirit does the convicting.  Mark and I had a few talks over the years, some for an hour or two, and one even for four hours, just ask his son.  But Mark started checking into things, and one of the things he told me is that he had been lied to.

Mark had his first opportunity this past weekend, as I was invited to come and speak on the Eucharist, miracles, and Mary in Boonville, Missouri, and I asked to bring him as a second speaker on each day, they said yes and we were able to get his feet wet at a Catholic venue.  And two of the greatest things he brought to the table is that as a baby Catholic of 8 months, he was already working with the Vicor General in his Diocese to increase Eucharistic Adoration for the largest parish in Springfield, and he had made a Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary on January 1st.
