"Torture is a morl issue" is a Catholic study guide used to explain the position of the Catholic Church concerning torture.  The United States Bishops are defending the basic precepts of human dignity and respect that should be afforded to each and every human person.  With the continued debate taking place in America as a result of the Democratic Party's attempt to go after the CIA during the Bush Administration, it is clear that people are hotly divided over what torture is defined as.  We will attempt to cover the story using the very guideline of the Bishops in full detail.  As we move forward we will attempt to share both points of view on certain  issues that is being contended.  This may be covered in 4 or 5 weeks on each Tuesday evening.  This is an explorative unrehearsed attempt to take an honest look at the issues and see where agreement can be reached.
