Deepertruth: Pray for America

Our Nation needs Divine assistance: 

I am looking for the Lord to be sending faithful sons and daughters of the Catholic Church who will be faithful to the cause of Christ, who will not succumb to the lure of evil. Those, who like St. Joan, will not bend the knee to the status quo, but will seek to place God above all things.

We need people who are faithful to God and His Church first, then everything else will be from this base. Then the gospel of Christ will again flourish in America, and America will continue to receive God’s blessing.

We are living in an age when many have abandoned the true Faith, Sarah Palindescribes her own mother as being a former Catholic who became a “Christian”. That her mother was seeking something more? People really believe this kind of take on religion, they really are showing their lack of faith.

In this open court we find ourselves today, there are really some strange alliances that have been formed, all the gray areas are being recognized and accepted. Who will the Lord send to bring back the lost? Who out there are even willing to serve the Lord?

Somehow I do not believe that the Lord is sending someone specific that will be a news maker, a rich tycoon, but someone of a lowly stature, with a very simple and meager background.

I pray for America, that people will truly listen to the voice of the Lord, who by virtue of their baptism and confirmation, will find strength in being a disciple of Christ.
