A Soul determines whether it will adopt a male body with a female thinking mind (what might be called a trans woman), or a female body with a male thinking mind (what might be called a trans man). It is the Soul that determines how it will express itself during an incarnation. Then why is it so hard to accept this truth: that gender is an expression of one’s Soul, not an expression of the body? It feels so wrong, so foreign and uncomfortable to take on the “wrong body,” yet many Souls come into the world with gender identity questions and this is not a mistake of nature. It is a lesson for that individual’s Soul, as well as a lesson for the world.
