Bullies can affect the lives of others profoundly, which is how they derive their power. They feed off the energy of other people's fear and intimidation, and steal power from others in order to feel more powerful. They also feed off the approbation and admiration that their supporters give them. People who bully others feel weak, inferior and inadequate, so they bully others to prove their strength, superiority and power.
