In The Trenches with the faith community Nurses

Our goal is to minister to the mind, body and soul. Congregational Nursing is vital part of our ministry

Congregational Nursing (aka Parish Nursing) is a vital part of our society. The purpose of this role is to take our profession to where it can reach more people: the church and community. Our goal is to minister to the mind, body and soul.

Parish/Congregational Nursing does not focus on the physical part of a person only. This type of nursing encompasses the whole person: mind, body and soul (spirit). My premises is based on III John 2, 1 Cor. 3:16-17, 1 Cor. 6:19-20, Psalms 139:13-14 and Romans 12: 1-2.  In order to serve in church ministry, we must be physically, mentally and spiritually balance. Our wellness must be inclusive in all aspects of our lives.
