Paper 114—Seraphic Planetary Government—P4:The Reserve Corps of Destiny

This week we finish our study of Urantia Paper 114: The Seraphic Planetary Government.

We started our current study by reading about the sovereignty of our world. We then went on to read about the Spiritual Government that actively and currently serves this world. We've also covered the Planetary Board of Supervisors, the Resident Governor General, the Most High Observer, the Planetary Government, and last week we read about the amazing Master Seraphim of Planetary Supervision.

Did you ever imagine that there is a highly organized spiritual government on our world? If you've been reading along with us in the last few weeks, you know that the spiritual realm that coexists with us is highly organized. Even so, it can't bridge the gap between the human and the spiritual realms without the help of amazing human beings. We humans are the boots on the ground for the Angels. Human beings can and do work with them, if we choose. 

The reserve corps of destiny consists of living men and women who have been admitted to the special service of the superhuman administration of world affairs. This corps is made up of the men and women of each generation who are chosen by the spirit directors of the realm to assist in the conduct of the ministry of mercy and wisdom to the children of time on the evolutionary worlds. It is the general practice in the conduct of the affairs of the ascension plans to begin this liaison utilization of mortal will creatures immediately they are competent and trustworthy to assume such responsibilities. Accordingly, as soon as men and women appear on the stage of temporal action with sufficient mental capacity, adequate moral status, and requisite spirituality, they are quickly assigned to the appropriate celestial group of planetary personalities as human liaisons, mortal assistants.114:7.1
