Join us today on Women Leading the Way Radio as Shawn Marie Turi, your host of Business IS Personal: What you do and WHY you do it... MATTERS, interviews Madison Canary, Founder and Yogi of Yoga N Motion.

In the work place, Yoga has been shown to decrease stress and increase productivity! Madison teaches both privately and to groups and she is contracted by not only dozens of yoga studios but also by corporations who believe and support company wellness programs… which we certainly need more of. Madison is especially trained in Vinyasa flow, Restorative/Yin yoga as well as children's yoga and her works focus is to encourage students to find their inner source of power through unifying body and breathe to overcome the false limitations of the mind.

After 10 years as a ballerina, Madison came to yoga, as injuries she’d endured in dance and ballet, left her body injured and unable to move. Yoga brought her body and spirit back to life and from the deep appreciation and love for the practice, she trained to become a certified teacher, so she could in turn pass along the gift of yoga, which had transformed her life. Her excitement for the practice is infectious and the number one thing she aspires to pass along to her students is joy. Joy for life, for movement, for their bodies.

Yoga has brought feelings of peace and determination to Madison that affect both her business and her life and in the most positive ways, and as a result, she feels healthier, stronger and more centered now than ever before.

She wishes that for her students as well and sharing yoga with others is an honor and a privilege and it’s truly what she’s been called to do.
