New York, NY -  Painting can be a relaxing hobby for many people, but for others who are so inexplicably talented, it becomes a lifelong rewarding career that brings world-wide recognition and honor.

Frank Mann is a renowned painter and founder of Frank Mann Studio with locations in Midtown Manhattan by Kips Bay and the Hudson Valley Region of New York.

“My work appears abstract but it’s based on my interest in visual perception," says Mann. "The primary impulse is to work from the inside out so I’m not working from the world of nature but more from the imagination.”

Mann says he had an innate desire from a very young age to become an artist.

“Art is life affirming and incredibly inspiring,” says Mann. “As a working artist it’s immensely gratifying to see your vision actualized where other people can appreciate it. Some of my works are more developed than others, while still others are an approximation or a fragment of the overall complexity of the range of the work.”

For many years, Mann has had exhibitions in Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona, London, and Berlin, and participated in international exhibitions and biennials in Europe. Mann’s distinguished work has also been included in books and publications throughout numerous countries including Italy, the U.K., Portugal, Germany, and Austria.

“The pursuit of the artist is inevitably a calling rather than a personal choice,” says Mann. “A good life comes from using talents wisely and pursing a life of meaning. It’s tremendously satisfying when people appreciate your work. I have been extremely fortunate. It’s been a magnificent life.”
