Toronto, Ontario – They say you can’t buy happiness, but you can buy chocolate, and that’s the same thing.

Ingrid Läderach Steven is the owner of Swiss Master Chocolatier, a boutique chocolate shoppe that specializes in “beautiful chocolate for beautiful people.” Now in its fourth decade of operation, Swiss Master Chocolatier is famous for its delicious confections and creative presentation.

“Each person who walks through our door gets a chocolate so that they feel better when they walk out,” says Ingrid. “If everybody had a piece of chocolate and thought of all the wonderful things in life, this world would be a better place.”

Ingrid is originally from Switzerland, and the Swiss know their chocolate. Swiss Master Chocolatier imports high-quality Swiss truffles, pralines, and many other products directly from Switzerland almost every day. And unlike most chocolate, which is filled with preservatives to give it an unnaturally long shelf life, Swiss Masters’ chocolate is made with fresh ingredients.

“Our products are made in Switzerland for the domestic market, which means our products use fresh cream and fresh butter.”

Obviously, the product has to be good, but Ingrid says what separates Swiss Master are the relationships they have with each customer.

“Yes, we sell chocolate, but it is so much more than that,” says Ingrid. “Our clients know we always give them the best product, but we’re not just selling a product; we sell being kind to another human being. That’s what chocolate represents.”
