Portland, ME – Too often change causes people to spend too much time stuck in what went wrong. Before they know it, six months has passed. Now they’re in a new beginning, but it’s not a new beginning of their choice.

Of course, change is inevitable, and even though we adapt to change every day we forget how resourceful, strong, and resilient we are when a major change is thrust upon us.

Kathleen Kerr is a world-class certified transition coach as well as the president and founder of KMK Coaching, where she helps individuals in transition uncover their purpose and integrate it into their personal and professional goals to achieve fulfilling results.

“I focus on that space between endings and beginnings,” says Kathleen. “We look at what is, work towards acceptance and responsibility. I believe that every situation we find ourselves in is preparation for the next big thing. If we don’t spend time in the space between, we might not be prepared to seize the next big thing. Spending time in the space between allows time for exploration and choice about what we want our future to be.”

Through simple questions, Kathleen helps clients navigate transition proactively. What are your skills? What kind of work do you enjoy? What are your values?  What companies embody those values? When you make your next move, you know how to show up.

“You’re not just hoping; you’re taking an active role in manifesting your own destiny,” says Kathleen. “When you are living your values, who and what you want in your life will be attracted to you.
