Burlington, Ontario – “It’s not what you eat, it’s what’s eating you,” says stress-less weigh-less expert Irene Jorgensen.

Irene is the founder of Clear Your Cravings, a weight loss coaching practice dedicated to teaching professional women struggling with food cravings and stress eating how to use their overeating as a gateway to weight loss and body confidence. As the creator of the 7 Steps to Your Natural Weight and Body Confidence System for Professional Women, Irene shows how to engage with overeating to control food instead of letting it control us.

“Most people try to ignore their overeating, but what’s underneath is still there and is constantly working at trying to get your attention through cravings,” says Irene. “We don’t deny emotional overeating; we explore it to determine the emotions at the root of our overeating."

Irene’s clients are typically women who have been dieting for years on-and-off and no matter what they do, they still struggle with losing weight. Irene helps her clients navigate the subconscious blocks that sabotage our progress: the food cravings; the stress-eating; the compulsive overeating.

Irene says she is an emotional overeater herself and spent her 20s on every diet imaginable. She spent the next twenty years studying emotional overeating, but it wasn’t until Irene discovered Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT, that the final piece fell into place.

“EFT is a perfect tool to access our subconscious blocks,” says Irene. “Once we can identify what’s underneath the emotional eating, we use EFT to unlink the limiting beliefs, the blocks and clear the emotions."
