Portland, OR – Often when change turns our life upside down, our natural instinct is to fight it, to try and keep our lives the same, firmly in the center of our comfort zone. But this can create more chaos in our lives and delays the inevitable.

Elana Brazile is the founder of Monuments of Human Potential, a coaching practice specializing in individuals who are going through major life transition. Elana teaches her clients to use those challenging experiences to unlock their potential and create a better life than they could have ever hoped for.

“Some transitions can be extremely emotional. You can detach from yourself and get confused and stuck very easily,” says Elana. “I help you reconnect with your logical side and approach it as you would any problem. If you don’t take action you’re going to get stuck and your world is going to pass you by.”

Elana knows firsthand how difficult major transitions can be. She was able to extract both herself and her son from an abusive relationship to recreate both her life and identity. Today, many of Elana’s clients are women just like her who find themselves facing the same incredibly difficult decision. Elana’s story serves as a model for their success.

“They’re very inspiring,” says Elana of her clients. “It doesn’t matter where they come from or where they start, watching them realize that they actually can choose the direction of their life and they have the power to decide what they want their life to look like and how they want to feel. It’s inspiring to see them take action and apply the lessons we work on.”
