Tampa, FL – At any point in our life, we may be faced with transition, but with respect to the financial and emotional hardships a person must endure, nothing quite compares to divorce. With the divorce rate having reached 50 percent, more and more women are facing this enormously challenging, life-altering event.

Monica Kosiorek is a Certified Professional Coach, Energy Leadership Master Practitioner and the founder of Unlock Your Potential, which specializes in helping women navigate through all of life’s many transitions, including divorce. Monica’s unique program “Divorce: Now What?” is aimed at women between the age of 40-60 to help them answer the frightening question of what comes next and empower them to move forward.

“Divorce was just one of my many transitions,” says Monica. “It’s a comfort to the client that I’ve gone through some of the things they may be facing. When people see that I was able to come out even better on the other side, it can offer them a great deal of encouragement.”

Monica recently published her first book: Leave Your Coulda-Shoulda-Woulda Behind: Ten Building Blocks to Help You Get Started. According to Monica, the philosophy of coaching is that the client has the answers. The primary role of the coach is simply to ask questions that help bring out what is in the heart of the client.

“Typically what people are looking for is someone to hold them accountable, somebody you know who’s out there that cares,” says Monica. “I don’t consider this work. I have a sense of concern for this person and I look forward to speaking to them and seeing their progress. It’s wonderful when they can move on. It’s a testament to what a coach can do.”
