Flushing, NY – All the world’s a stage, but pursuing the dream of becoming a professional actress requires a special kind of courage. Some people are born natural performers but for whatever reason find themselves walking a more traditional path. But it’s never too late. Just ask Ginger Rich.

After many years in the corporate world, Ginger Rich was finally able to realize her dream of becoming a professional actress. Today, Ginger is a veteran of both screen and stage, having since appeared in numerous films, theater productions and television programs including Late Night with David Letterman; Angels in America; 30 Rock; Law & Order; Saturday Night Live; Sex and the City; even the Maury Povich Show.

“I’m always performing, always dramatic,” says Ginger. “I enjoy the process of being someone else that I would like to be.”

A natural performer all her life, Ginger did what she could but never thought she would be a professional. She had children to raise and responsible corporate positions, but she never gave up her dream.

“One day the sun was shining, and I asked myself, ‘What am I doing? Am I going to look for another job I hate?’ I went out to run some errands and two people who didn’t know me came up to me and asked, ‘Are you an actress?’ It was a sign. So I took my life in my own hands and realized my dream. “

Ginger says what makes her such a strong actress is that she doesn’t think she’s acting; she inhabits her characters, imbuing them with passion and emotion so it connects with the audience.

“Do whatever it takes to get on screen or on stage,” says Ginger. “You’ve got to find out what it’s like to be a professional on camera and on stage and absorb every aspect of the process."
