Mission Statement - GCRAG

  • To unite and form a support group for all area artists.
  • To promote area artists in coordination with local business.
  • To promote Castle Rock and the area as an arts community.
  • To be a voice for area artists to promote arts for all ages and mediums.
  • To create an Art Market place & atmosphere where business and Art community benefit through classes, exhibits, and other options.
  • To educate artists on legal and marketing issues and special production issues.
  • To increase understanding of quality of each medium as much as possible through informative programs and demonstrations.

  • Providing workshops & classes for members and the community. This is the first year that GCRAG has had the resources to provide ongoing classes and workshops for teens and adults in a wide variety of mediums.
  • Providing scholarships for classes and workshops for people unable to financially manage such.
  • Conducting special events for businesses/corporations, such as wine and art programs, that are tailored to individual business needs.
  • Speakers for community presentations.
