Fort Wayne, IN – Hypnotherapy provides mental health professionals with a whole new set of valuable tools to help their clients more effectively. But without proper training in its practical application, hypnosis can do more harm than good.

The Midwest Training Institute of Hypnosis (Approved For Applicant Status By the State of Indiana #AC-0136) is a  hypnotherapy and hypnosis training school. Led by Dr. Gisella Zukausky, the institute offers the most comprehensive curriculum in the country, with courses in both basic and advanced hypnosis.

“I’m passionate about hypnosis because I’ve seen what it can do that nothing else can do,” says Dr. Zukausky. “And I’m passionate about helping people.”

Dr. Zukausky describes hypnosis as “any time you’re not making yourself think." While under hypnosis, we’re able to access our subconscious mind where the emotions that cause our negative behaviors can be found.

“Everything physical starts with something emotional,” explains Dr. Zukausky. “Habits require emotions. Using hypnosis, we can direct the subconscious mind to correct those emotions in the best way. When we resolve these emotions there is no longer a need for the habit.”

Zukausky has been an instructor of hypnosis since 1991. She also offers hypnotherapy and counseling services through her private practice, Achieve with Hypnosis.

“Many times when they’ve tried everything else I’m their last resort,” says Dr. Zukausky. “Almost everything I do work on is done in about three sessions and the results are permanent because I’ve gotten to the cause.”
