Knox County, Ohio – For many writers, the search for inspiration can be a long and daunting task indeed. Returning to the Close-Up Talk Radio experience is author Paula Jo (Eberwine) Blubaugh. For Paula, inspiration for her book, Dalmatian Road, came to her during a simple conversation with her son while driving home one day.

Released in 2012 (Xlibris), Dalmatian Road offers children a simple and fun way to learn and enjoy the experience of reading. Dalmatian Road is full of life, color illustrations, and imagination. Through rhyming, Dalmatian Road provides children the opportunity to identify different animals and colors essential to educational advancement.

Recently, Paula completed her latest rhyming book tentatively titled Cloudoscope. Paula is also working on a new book from her family dog’s perspective entitled Black Labradorable.

“I just want to continue to share the joys of reading through imagination. I like to think outside of the box and do things just outside of the norm. With Cloudoscope, I wanted to rhymes about how incredible the constantly changing shapes of clouds can be, much like a kaleidoscope, and what the imagination can allow them to appear to be. For Black Labradorable, I wanted to do something different by writing a humorous journal from my Labrador’s perspective. People who have pets often look at them and wish they knew what they were thinking. I’m hoping to have both books ready for release by Thanksgiving/Christmas 2013.”
